The Catedral in Sevelle,Spain

I went to the Cathedral in Seville, Spain.  It is called Catedral .  The Catedral was really grand!

I couldn’t believe that it was built in the year 1401 because people don’t even build stuff this amazing today. There were dozens of alters.  One was made of gold with reliefs, which are three dimensional pictures. It had a whole bunch of scenes from the bible and of the Sevilla Kings.  The Catedral is five stories high, but it only has 1 floor.  The ceiling was about 50 to 100 feet from the ground.  It is the third largest church in the world.  It seems like it is at least the size of three city blocks.  Attached to the Catedral is a 37 floored tower.  The tower was built in the year 1184 by the Muslim rulers.  It was built to sing the call to prayer.  This tower is called the Giralda.  It has a ramp all the way to the top instead of stairs so people could ride their horses to the top.

I’m glad I could tell you about the Catedral.  If you ever go to Sevilla, Spain, be sure to visit the Catedral.
