NEW YEARS IN FETHIYE

              New Years in Turkey

We had New Years in Fethiye, Turkey.  For New Years we went to, two different places.  First, we went to an authentic Turkish restaurant.  After that we went to an English, “fancy dress party”.  At the Turkish place we sat at small round tables and had Turkish food.  We also listened to Turkish music while watching two men dance.  At the English place, we came in our fancy clothes and everyone else was dressed up too, but in a different way.  They were dressed up as if it was a Halloween party. There was a sign outside in front of the English restaurant saying “Fancy Dress Party”, so we assumed we should dress up.  Fortunately, we “punched out” our outfits by wearing our converse sneakers and boots because we didn’t have any dressy shoes.  At the English place our dad and Jess sang karaoke.  (The man in this picture is dressed like a woman) We had a very different New Years!!!
